What Vertflow does — and how it uses your Google data

Vertflow is a YouTube analytics dashboard for creators who run several channels at once. You sign in with Google, connect the channels you own, and Vertflow puts their statistics and their earnings side by side — per video, per channel — in one private dashboard, instead of you opening YouTube Studio once per channel and adding the numbers up by hand.

Every permission it requests is read-only. Vertflow never uploads, edits, deletes or comments on anything, and it cannot reach any Google service outside YouTube.

Why each permission is requested

  • openid, email, profile — identifies your account, so your dashboard is yours alone and no one else can see your numbers.
  • youtube.readonly — lists the channels you own and the videos on them, so Vertflow knows what to report on.
  • yt-analytics.readonly — reads views, watch time and subscriber figures for those channels, which is what the charts and tables are built from.
  • yt-analytics-monetary.readonly — reads the earnings YouTube reports for your own videos. This is the core of the product: seeing what a video actually earned instead of guessing it from an RPM estimate. It is optional — decline it and everything else still works, with revenue left blank.

How that data is handled

  • Your data is visible only to you — encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit over HTTPS, and never shared or sold to anyone. Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
  • You can disconnect any time — from your dashboard, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
